Holy smokes, the '55 Chev pick up is back from paint, well most of it. We have the cab and front sheetmetal! The hood and box are still there but will be here shortly!!! So do you think you guessed the right colour??? It's a hard one.........black! Yep you guessed it, after careful consideration! It looks great! Might need a pinstripe or something to break up the black, but that is just a personal opinion! Assembly has begun!
The motor is out of the '32 project and back to the motor shop to be finished up and dyno tested! Hopefully within about 2 weeks we are heading to the paint shop!

| The '32 project in the shop is moving along quite smoothly. The exhaust is being fabricated, the rear roll pan has been installed with the tail light pods. It is looking really good. The '37 pickup is also having a lot of work done. Sheetmetal and more sheetmetal. Custom fenders and running boards. A rear roll pan is being fabricated. Nothing stock about this truck! We have a '66 Mustang in the shop that is having a new front and rear suspension installed. That is not going as planned! A new exhaust, motor is getting a tune up, perhaps supercharged! It will be a surprise! We are still waiting for the '48 Ford and the '55 Chev pick ups to come back from paint. We have other projects on the go also but don't want to give away everything were doing. Check out the photo galleries! |

Happy Canada's Day! Like a lot of other companies, we are working today and taking tomorrow off to make it a long weekend! There is another race this coming weekend in Cayuga, ON. Pro-mods, top fuels, funny cars. Should be fun! The weather is suppose to be great! Time will tell! Crossing my fingers that the Castrol SLX Pro-mod runs great! Seems like it never does when I'm there!!! Yikes! I would also like to wish good luck to Roth Racing! This is a great team with a great Lowdown Hot Rods built car!
School is done, yippie! Now only 1 lunch to make each morning! Advantage of summer, I get to have lunch at home with the kids, if their home! Both boys passed their grade. Brody will be in grade 12 next year, where the heck did that time go!! HOLY SMOKES! Austin will be starting grade 9. Oh boy, that's scary! They are both missing Jr. racing! But so is Tom and I. We are looking for a big dragster for Brody! But we are not rushing! It is suppose to be our year out! The right deal just hasn't presented itself yet! Mind you, Brody isn't to impressed that he will have to share the dragster with dear mom! Yep, I want to drive!! Well at least try!

OK so the first day of summer has come and gone, along with our weather! Earthquakes, tornado's and pretty much crap weather! Who would of thought that an earthquake would be felt in Toronto, Ontario! It wasn't felt much were we are in Cambridge but it sure was the talk of the night!
The motor for our '32 project is here! It's not done but we needed it to continue with the project. Lots of parts to fit and figure out that the motor placement is essential! Once the car is ready to get blown apart for paint, the motor will be going back to the motor shop for it to be finished and dyno tested.
The '37 pickup is moving along. We are doing a lot of sheetmetal fabrication, which takes time. The '34 Chevy is getting steering fabricated. Not a lot of space to work with around the custom headers! We have been told that we shouldn't expect the '48 Ford pickup back from paint until Octoberish! Not Great! The '55 Chev pickup should be back from paint within a couple of weeks.

After what seeems like a long time, a paint colour has been chosen for the '55 Chev pick up, wait for it, you won't believe it, are you ready, the colour is.......oh you"ll have to wait and see! This was a decision that didn't come easy for our customer! After hours spent on the House of Kolors design program, sample panels painted different colours. But ultimately a decision has been made. We are still waiting for the '47 Ford pick up from paint. It is taking a really long time and the colour was chosen before it even wait!
The '32 project is moving along. We are waiting on parts to arrive! It doesn't seem to matter how far in advance parts get ordered, something always gets delayed! It seems like a real struggle these days to get parts!! I don't know if suppliers just aren't ordering stuff on time or if their suppliers are not manufacturing parts like they once did! Work continues on the '37 Chev wild pick up!! You will notice that the photo gallery isn't being updated per the customer's request.
